Optional rate "Sickness Benefit"
You are entitled to optional sickness benefit for the first time with the start of the sixth calendar month and after start of rate duration at the earliest. In case your inability to work has been assessed before the selection of this rate, there is no entitlement to sickness pay for the duration of the current inability to work.
The duration of contracts begins with the first day of the calendar month which follows the receipt of the tariff agreement at BKK vor Ort.
Should you insure yourself at BKK vor Ort as a new member and select the rate at the same time, the duration of contract begins with the start of membership.

Optional rate "Contribution"
The optional rate “Contribution” applies to insured members who have chosen refund in favour of the normal benefits in kind. Instead of the usual procedure of paying the doctor’s service with your health insurance card, you commit yourself to paying a share of the treatment expenses. In return, you receive a bonus from us in advance each year.
Optional rate "Healthy to the Core"
Health is rewarded by BKK vor Ort. If you and co-insured relatives do not claim any services for a year, you will be refunded with a complete monthly payment (employee’s contribution). So, a refund of almost 300 Euro is possible. Certainly, we do not want that you miss important medical services. Therefore, measures of prevention, maternity and rehabilitation as well as treatments for children and teenagers up to the age of 18 are excluded. For this rate you have to register up to the 30th of June of each year. The period of commitment is one year.
Optional rate "Treatment Programme"
BKK vor Ort has set itself the goal to provide every chronically ill person with an individual treatment. We guarantee optimum care with a nationwide network.Key diseases are: Asthma / COPD, breast cancer, Diabetes Mellitus Types I and II and coronary heart disease. When selecting this rate, up to 60 Euro per calendar year will be refunded to your account (5 Euro per month of participation).
Optional rate "Integrated Care"
If the treatments among all involved service providers are coordinated, optimum care is possible. Make use of the advantages of “Integrated Care”. We help you with information about nets of service providers in your region.
Optional rates
The so-called health fund is financed by the statutory contribution rate for employees. The health fund includes all services that a health insurance offers to its members.
